Principal Angelique Bamberg founded Clio Consulting in 2009 to provide high-quality professional services in architectural history and historic preservation. The firm name evokes Clio, the ancient Greek muse of history.

National Register of Historic Places

Listing in the National Register is an honor and, frequently, a threshold requirement for access to preservation incentive programs, such as grants and the federal Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit.

Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit

Clio Consulting is expert on preparation of all parts of the Historic Tax Credit application and on advising project teams on interpreting and applying the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards.

Survey and Inventory

Through survey and inventory, Clio Consulting assists communities in understanding what historic resources they have and in planning effectively for their preservation.

Local Historic Nominations

Communities with a local historic preservation ordinance will have an established process for local historic landmark or district designation, usually involving an application and one or more public hearings.
